Wow! This summer is sure flying by. We have been having fun seeing family and friends and enjoying the sunny weather--even though I am still white! We spent the 4th of July week with Scott's family in Lake Tahoe...what a blast this was. Katelyn even had a lot of fun, even though she couldn't swim or play much in the sand due to a cut and stitches right before our trip. Scottie made up the difference spending lots of time in the water with his cousins.
Scott just had another birthday...dang I guess that means he is still wiser than me. Hehe :0) And we enjoyed spoiling him (and of course catching him up on his birthday spankings)!
Scottie has enjoyed having time off from school, playing with friends, games, and family. His dad taught him how to play pool this summer and he has been having fun trying to beat his mom (which he does sometimes) and working on his skills so one day he can beat his dad. He is a lot of fun to have around and play with.
Katelyn, or should I say Sally the puppy, loves to pretend to be a puppy or kitty much of the time. She has also been having a lot of fun learning how to write letters, color, and paint. She can sit at the table to color for hours at a time sometimes, and really enjoys sharing her art work with others. Today we finally took her to get her hair cut...it was practically to her bottom. Now it is about 5 inches shorter, but still really cute. She is so much fun to be around, and loves to interact with anyone and everyone that she can.
